Servers

What Is a Server

A server is a remote computer that runs your bots instead of using your personal device. Servers allow you to run tasks continuously, handle higher loads, and avoid performance issues caused by local hardware or internet limitations.

In botting, servers are commonly used to improve stability, speed, and uptime during releases.

Why Use a Server for Botting

• Run bots without relying on your home computer

• Maintain consistent performance during releases

• Handle higher task counts more reliably

• Avoid local internet or hardware bottlenecks

• Keep setups running even when you are offline

Servers are not required to start botting, but they become increasingly important as you scale.

Server Types

Local Computer

• Runs bots on your personal device

• No additional cost

• Limited by your hardware and internet

• Best for learning and very light tasking

Virtual Machine (VM)

• Cloud based virtual computer

• Shared physical hardware

• Affordable and easy to scale

• Most common starting option

• Suitable for light to moderate tasking

Bare Metal (Dedicated Server)

• Physical server dedicated to one user

• No shared resources

• Higher performance and stability

• Higher cost

• Best for high task volumes and advanced setups
